Maoists blow up railway building before Chidambaram's Orissa visit
They say Politicians have 9 lives, and Chidambran used one of his when the Maoists blew up a Railway Bldg and three mobile phone towers just before Chidambaran arrived in Orissa.

For all of those who saw the felicitation that the Indian T20 team received by the BCCI & the general public, they will spot the similarities in the way the Pakis are doing it right now. But having said that, Afridi and the other Pakistani boys deserve all the adoration they are getting; They tore their way through to the finals and then won it cheaply against the lankans.

India has most home grown terror groups in the world
I was surprised to read about this in today's times. If somebody had asked me where are the most terror groups, my answer would have been Af-Pak. But I would have been wrong, with all it's diversity and size people of India are sure to have grievances. Each decacde here has seen the rise of terror outfits like the millitants of Punjab. Their grievences may be right but violence certainly is no answer.

Pakistan now T20 World Champions
Would you believe it? after making it to the finals last time around, loosing it and then making finals again, they win it! It's the sorriest sporting news I as an Indian have heard in a while and it will remain so for a while I think. Here's the story.
